Meet Mrs. Kyriacou
Hello Diskin Families,
I have the distinct honor to be your child's 5th grade writing and science teacher. I'm Giselle Kyriacou - that's pronounced - Kee ree ah koo. I was born and raised in New York City, New York; however, I've lived in Las Vegas for over a decade. I have a Masters in Elementary Education with a Gifted and Talented endorsement. I have the distinct pleasure of being Diskin's after school Drama Teacher and have produced and directed four Broadway plays for kids at Diskin. I am a self proclaimed bookworm and a techy. My education mantra is a quote from Mr. Nelson Mandela. President Mandela said,
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
Let's change the world together - Mrs. Giselle Kyriacou
